ESTATE LIQUIDATION

Estate Liquidation is a way of selling the belongings of a family household or estate. These are usually much more than garage or yard sales. They are used when someone is in need of a way to sell items due to downsizing, moving, divorce, bankruptcy, or death. The public is invited into the home and given the opportunity to purchase any item that is priced for sale. At times there are items that are not for sale because the family has decided to keep them or new owners of the house have made them part of a contract to buy the house.

BUYER INFORMATION

A Touch of Class Estate Sales always strives to present professional and extensive estate liquidation services for our sellers and our buyers. 

As you can imagine, the time between setup, advertising, sale and clean-out is fast-paced. organizing, pricing, displaying and setting up a sale for a short period of time and then clearing the home of all personal items and leaving it broom clean is a responsibility we take very seriously.  So we always appreciate your cooperation and patience.

Our Basic Guidelines for Buyers who come to our Estate Sales help us all run an organized event.

ESTATE LIQUIDATION PRICING

During the estate liquidation, we generally, price items as affordable as possible. Items posted in photos do not display pricing.  We hope that you attend to see the prices as there are too many items to remember. 

Day two of Sale; Generally we reduce prices by 50%.

Day three of Sale, generally we reduce prices by 75% of original opening day price.

WEBSITE 

We update the website weekly. If there are changes, corrections, updates of any kind, the website will be our primary communication with the public. If you have questions or technical problems with the website, email newsletter or Facebook, please text or call Imelda at (505)710-9344.

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

To those who have joined the email list , we send out a weekly email newsletter to let you know upcoming sales for the week. It is text only, so we ask you to see our sales on the website for photos, details and maps/directions.


We will also send additional emails, to let you know of any changes, updates or corrections to the original email.

PARKING

As sales are located in residential neighborhoods, we ask that shoppers park as directed. If no direction, then be sure to park in safe and courteous locations around the sale.

FACEBOOK

We post our sales on Facebook. Join us there too. 

ESTATE SALE ETIQUETTE

We ask that everyone respect others in line and treat them as you would expect to be treated. Hold your place in line with your presence and do not cut in line. Do not rush the door when the sale opens. Do not block others from entering. Everyone has just as much right to be there as you, whether they are making a living at it or just enjoying a day out. If someone picks an item up, do not grab at it. If something is marked sold do not remove the sticker. Do not hoard items you do not intend to buy. Honor your bids.
